Alyssa Milano, Collin Kelly, Jackson Lanzing, Marcus To, and Ian Herring’s series was one step ahead of the drizzly look of the sleeper hit Mr. Robot. They both play up next-gen social relevance turned mobilized disruption theory, touching on both the beleaguered rebels in the basement, and the blustery politics of the boardroom. Kelly and Lanzing are taking the time with this second volume to flesh out a world in which future stories can be told, and under the accessible lines of Marcus To and high gloss of Herring, it continues to be an easy book to recommend to people of a certain demographic. Hacktivist Vol. 2 #3 (Boom! Studios/Archaia) is the book of the week, but I’ll also be checking out the following titles:

Astro City #27 (DC/Vertigo)
Nameless #5 (Image)
Invisible Republic #6 (Image)
